About Our Holiday Cottage

4 Elder Cottages is on a quiet road in the village of Thornham,  within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural beauty.   The house overlooks a large meadow near the saltmarshes which surround the old harbour and estuary.  The RSPB bird reserve at Titchwell and the Holme Wildlife reserve,   both next to beautiful sandy beaches,  are a short walk away.  Thornham has a shop and three pubs which all serve good food.

The cottage has been recently renovated and now combines its original character with comforts including underfloor heating, a woodburning stove,  and a kitchen with modern appliances.  It has two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs,  and a living room,  kitchen and separate dining area downstairs.  The house will sleep four people, or six if you want to use the sofa bed in the living room.  There is a garden with a large seating area and parking for at least two cars.
